Page and Plant arrived in Vancouver
Arriving in Vancouver to begin the ‘Walking Into Everywhere’ Tour in September to present a set that incorporated four numbers from the ‘Walking into Clarksdale’ album: ‘Walking into Clarksdale’, ‘When The World Was Young’, ‘Heart in Your Hand’ and ‘Most High’. This was the first of three days we were to perform at the GM Place, now known as the Rogers Arena!
Gretsch White Falcon (1990)
I was given my Gretsch White Falcon in the late Eighties or early Nineties. The overdubs on the song ‘Walking into Clarksdale’ were all done on the White Falcon.
Ironically, given Robert’s desire to avoid overdubs, the song with the most guitars on it became the title track of the album.
