Outrider played the New Haven Coliseum

On this day in 1988, I played the New Haven Coliseum in Connecticut with Outrider.

John Miles came on board to sing and write lyrics, and that was a game-changer! He was superb: a fantastic musician, a phenomenal team player. He was also an incredibly versatile vocalist, which meant that when we went on tour we were able to do numbers from throughout my career going all the way back, because he could sound like Chris Farlowe, Robert Plant, Paul Rodgers and, of course, a super-charged John Miles. He made it really enjoyable.
