The idea was to use the orchestra on some numbers to complement the regular set-up of guitar, bass, drums and keyboard. There was a mix of eight Egyptian and Moroccan musicians: four percussionists and four violinists. In total we had 50 supporting musicians.

The album drawn from the MTV Unledded project, recorded in August 1994 at Jemaa el-Fnaa in Marrakesh, a citadel in Morocco, a slate mine near Corris and Dolgoch Falls in Wales, and at LWT Studios in London. Released 14 October 1994 in the UK and 8 November in the US on Atlantic, featuring 50 supporting musicians in total.
