Goodnight Sweet Josephine was an extreme example of a Yardbirds single where the B-side was much better than the A-side. Goodnight Sweet Josephine was absolutely horrifying in every respect. The B-side, Think About It, may not have been the greatest song, but it’s far more in the Yardbirds tradition.

The final Yardbirds single before the band’s dissolution, released March 1968 on Epic, produced by Mickie Most at De Lane Lea and Pye Studios. JP considered the A-side among the worst things the band were asked to record, while the B-side Think About It was significantly more in the Yardbirds mold.
