I first met Roy Harper at the Bath Festival in June 1969. Roy was known for appearing at lots of festivals. I had his first album, Sophisticated Beggar, it’s got an interesting track called Blackpool on it. We had a bond from that point. There was a serious mutual respect between us.

A single released in October 1972 featuring JP on guitar alongside Roy Harper. JP contributed guitar to Harper’s album Stormcock the same year, appearing on The Same Old Rock. The single was released on Harvest Records.
