Led Zeppelin DVD
Jimmy Page
Knebworth was a gathering of the tribes. There were hundreds of thousands of people there, so we had these really big screens showing the band with multiple cameras. This was useful when putting together the Led Zeppelin DVD. I was able to track the story of the band chronologically from 1969 to 1979 through our live performances.
Info
A two-disc DVD released 26 May 2003 on Atlantic, assembling live footage chronologically from 1969 to 1979 — Fillmore West, Royal Albert Hall, Madison Square Garden, Earls Court, Knebworth and others. Page edited and supervised the compilation, using multiple-camera Knebworth footage to illustrate the band’s development over the decade. Released simultaneously with the How the West Was Won triple album.
