In 1983, when asked, I immediately agreed to take part in the ARMS concert at the Royal Albert Hall organised by Ronnie to raise funds for Action Research into Multiple Sclerosis. The spirit of the event was such that everybody pulled together. Nobody was trying to upstage anybody else; we all just pitched in, united in our love for Ronnie.

A DVD release of the ARMS (Action Research into Multiple Sclerosis) benefit concerts, originally staged at the Royal Albert Hall on 20 September 1983 and subsequently on a US tour in November-December 1983. The concerts were organised by Ronnie Lane and brought together JP, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Steve Winwood, Paul Rodgers, Charlie Watts, Bill Wyman and others. Released commercially in 2008.
